This past Saturday we had the privilege of shooting Lorraine and Michael’s beautiful Ashford Estate wedding. Filled with elegance and classic style, the couple’s wedding was an idyllic affair. The gorgeous ground of The Ashford Estate provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s love story to unfold. Keep reading to hear and see more about their high-end wedding!
The exciting day began as most weddings do: The bride was ecstatic and couldn’t wait for the big moment! Lorraine was so happy and eager to get pictures of her big day that our job was a piece of cake. One thing we here at Heyn Photography love is a beautiful and spacious bridal suite (a girl cannot get ready for her big day in a closet), and The Ashford Estate definitely didn’t disappoint. Lorraine got ready in a suite fit for a queen which made the bridal prep photos look like something out of Buckingham Palace!
The couple decided to stay with tradition and did not have a first look. Their ceremony was held at Saint Mary’s of the Assumption Chruch, followed by family and bridal party photos back at the estate.
Our favorite part of the day was being able to spend our time alone with the bride and groom on the estate grounds. The area was so lovely that we took pictures of the family and bridal party at the back of the estate. There are so many great places to take breathtaking photos, and the couple had such a beautiful natural chemistry with one another. One thing that makes our work so enjoyable is being around the amazing energy of love at a wedding and when there is as much love in abundance as there was that day, our job is easy. The reception was amazing with our friends SCE Event Group. We didn’t want the night to end!
