Kelsey + James | 8.23.19

Kelsey and James’s Historic Hotel Bethlehem wedding was an absolute dream. I have been lucky to have an amazing team photographing alongside me over the years. It is an absolute honor when one of our own asks us to photograph their wedding. Kelsey and James had the most elegant August wedding. Every bride and groom wants their wedding to be perfect and be the best representation of them and their love. That was the beautiful outcome of their day. Every detail, every smile, was Kelsey and James.

We started off with both the bride and groom getting ready at Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Kelsey’s mother helped her get into her gorgeous beaded ballgown and delicate veil. We had lovely light in the hotel room so we snagged some bridal portraits before heading out to our first look.

We made our way to the colonial industrial quarter where James looked incredibly handsome as he eagerly awaited his bride. After a sweet and emotional first look, we walked to the downtown area and Lehigh University. The old architecture was the perfect backdrop for some incredibly romantic photos of our couple together. After that, we met up with our bridal party back in front of the hotel. Everything in Bethlehem lends an air of old-world charm and this was perfect for the feel of the day.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Luckenbach Mill. Kelsey and James said their “I do’s” and our hearts simply burst with joy for them. Their love for one another was evident to everyone present. Then we headed back to the hotel for cocktail hour and the reception. If you know Kelsey and James you know how important music is in their lives. Their attention to this aspect of their reception created a party that was truly out of this world! Everybody stayed on the dance floor, and the party went on forever.

I feel truly blessed to have witnessed the marriage of two people I hold dear. Kelsey and James, your love is nothing short of inspiring. You are truly amazing people and I do not doubt you will live an amazing life together. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
