Ian and Amber’s intimate summer tented wedding was absolutely beautiful. We had been looking forward to their wedding for a long time, and then COVID came along and we thought we were going to have to wait until next year to shoot their special day. Amber and Ian were not put off and were determined to get married on the date they had originally picked. So they opted for a small intimate backyard ceremony and dinner with close family to commemorate their special day. Leading up to the day, we started getting worried as the weather forecast was calling for a tropical storm. We wanted everything to be perfect for our couple and we were going to make the best of the situation regardless of the weather. Well, it turns out that they had somebody looking out for them because the storming weather suddenly turned calm and the sun peeked out just in time for their first look! We were able to snag some lovely shots of the two of them before the ceremony began and the rain pushed us all into the tent. We were so happy to witness the union of these two wonderful people. The ceremony was incredibly touching and emotional, and there was an outpouring of love from everyone there. We are so happy for Amber and Ian and can’t wait for their big party next year so we can celebrate again with them!
