Magical Wedding at The Mill

Shannon and Joe’s magical wedding at the Mill was absolutely beautiful. This year really put our dear couple through the wringer. They had to switch their wedding date twice and then had to switch venues. And then when their wedding day finally arrived, the forecast was calling for a major tropical storm.

The morning started off very rainy and gloomy, but inside The Breakers our bride and groom were glowing and happy as they got ready. Shannon’s mother and maid of honor helped her into her gorgeous gown. We used the great light from the massive windows to give us that romantic lighting for some portraits of our bride. Then it was time to head downstairs for our first look. Joe’s reaction to seeing Shannon was so moving that we were all tearing up. The day had finally come and these two were so excited! To make things even better, the skies cleared just in time for some outdoor photos.

We all drove over to Spring Lake for some fun with our bridal party and couple. It was still very cold out, but the general happiness of the day kept everyone going. We absolutely love these romantic park photos with the last of the fall foliage. Then it was time to go get married!

Shannon and Joe were not disappointed with their new venue, The Mill. Joe’s father officiated at the beautiful ceremony. Our couple said their “I do’s” and were greeted with a shower of rose petals by their guests. We spent our last bit of daylight getting some incredible photos on the dock and ending up on the upstairs deck for sunset. The rest of the night was spent with friends and family as they celebrated the newlyweds. We are so incredibly happy for Shannon and Joe and thrilled that their day turned out so magical. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
