Gorgeous Outdoor Wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn

Oct 7, 2021

Lydia & Steve 7.9.21

Lydia and Steve had the most gorgeous outdoor wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn. We started the morning with our couple getting ready at The Molly Pitcher. Lydia’s bridesmaids were full of energy and ready to have a great time. Then it was time to get our bride dressed. But first, Lydia’s mom had a very special gift for her. She had the buckle from Lydia’s grandma’s wedding shoes, together with a piece of lace from her own wedding dress made into a brooch for Lydia to put on her bouquet. This was an incredibly sweet and emotional moment and we were all in tears. Then Lydia’s mom and her cousin Liz helped her into her elegant Justin Alexander gown. After a lovely first look with her dad, we spent a few minutes alone with our bride before heading to church.

The ceremony was held at St. Agnes Church and it was really beautiful. Steve couldn’t stop smiling at his soon to be wife. Everyone cheered as they said their “I do’s” and kissed for the first time as husband and wife. We took advantage of the beautiful church grounds and took our family photos in the gardens.

Then we were off to Deep Cut Gardens for more photos. This spot has sentimental meaning for our couple as it’s where they took their prom photos together years ago. The bridal party was cheerful and nostalgic thinking about their high school years. The weather was incredibly hot but everyone remained in great spirits and we got some fun photos. Then we wandered the grounds with Lydia and Steve capturing some incredibly romantic images of the two of them.

They were troopers through the heat but we were all glad to be back in air conditioning and heading to the venue. Our couple picked The Molly Pitcher Inn because of the spectacular views of the water. So naturally we headed down to the dock area and got some lovely photos there. Then, it was time to party! The tent was set up perfectly and The Cliffs Band was on point! Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor! We had an amazing time with Lydia and Steve and wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
