Gorgeous Nautical Wedding at Bay Head Yacht Club

We are so thrilled to share Jackie & Kevin’s gorgeous nautical wedding at Bay Head Yacht Club. They are one of our couples who had to change their wedding plans due to the pandemic. They chose to get married in a small ceremony on the beach last year, and then have their big wedding this year at their venue. We start the day off with Jackie and her girls getting ready. We had getting some fun photos with them before getting dressed. After Jackie’s mother and maid of honor helped her into her gorgeous gown and veil, we spent time taking photos of our bride. We even got to do a first look with her dad which was incredibly emotional and sweet. Then it was time to make our way to Bay Head Yacht Club for the day.

We managed to get some amazing portraits of Jackie in the boathouse before Kevin arrived. They were both all smiles at seeing each other and looking out on the water together to enjoy the moment. We took them outside for portraits and then had their bridal party join them for some fun photos. We even got a few of the whole bridal party on the dock. Then it was time for the ceremony. The boathouse is such a beautiful spot and the ceremony was really touching. After the ceremony Jackie and Kevin rang the bell and jumped on their boat to share a champagne toast and a kiss. There was a storm moving in but we got the most incredible sunset right before it started to downpour. These may be our favorite shots of the day!

Then it was time to head inside Bay Head Yacht Club for cocktail hour and reception. The venue is really gorgeous venue and the reception was a perfect mix of rustic and nautical. Kevin gave a toast thanking everyone and we have to say it definitely left us a bit teary eyed. We had such a great time and we know the guests did too. We enjoyed their wedding so much and wish Jackie and Kevin a lifetime of happiness together.
