The seaside town of Spring Lake, New Jersey offered numerous options for photographing our couple, Stephanie and Mauricio! Stephanie is another one of Marissa’s childhood friends, so it’s been wonderful to witness her transformation from childhood bestie to mother. We took a leisurely stroll through the tree-lined downtown district, stopping to photograph the couple in front of charming flower-framed boutique shops. After that, we took advantage of the wildflower-filled fields next to the boardwalk, where Stephanie and Mauricio could enjoy a few moments alone. We even put together an impromptu bouquet and flower headdress to incorporate into the shoot!
As we were still enjoying the last remnants of summer warmth, we took advantage of the opportunity to relax in the beach atmosphere. Using the lifeguard stands, we opted for a more laid back vibe and let Stephanie and Mauricio unwind on the soft sand.
