April on the Jersey Shore: the air feels soft and full of possibility, the gardens are beginning to bloom, and everything feels touched by that unmistakable sense of renewal that only spring can bring. Jane and Connor’s beautiful wedding at Clark’s Landing in Point Pleasant, New Jersey captured all of that and more. From the fresh florals to the joyful energy of the day, every detail felt modern, romantic, and perfectly in step with the season.

Set entirely at Clark’s Landing, their celebration embraced the beauty of spring in the most effortless way. The property itself was the perfect backdrop for their quintessential April wedding, with lilacs and daffodils lining the grounds and adding soft color and texture to the day’s portraits. The entire setting felt vibrant and alive, making every corner of the venue feel like part of the story.

One of the most unforgettable details of the day was the Jane’s gown: a stunning mermaid-style dress adorned with delicate lace appliqués, which continued beautifully onto her veil for an especially romantic effect. Her look was made even more distinctive with detachable long sheer sleeves, accented by the trumpet-shaped calla lilies she carried—a detail that felt like the very epitome of spring. Her bridal style was elegant and fashion-forward, yet still timeless, blending softness and sophistication in a way that perfectly matched the spirit of the day.

Connor and his groomsmen complemented the spring palette wonderfully in navy suits, each styled with varying shades of emerald green ties. That subtle but intentional pop of green brought a fresh seasonal energy to the look and tied everything together so seamlessly. It was a perfect example of how even a classic wedding party style can feel elevated and distinctly seasonal with just the right color choices.

One of the sweetest highlights of the celebration was the couple’s short-statured, white fluffy dog, who was included in both the portraits and the ceremony! Dressed in his own suit, he was every bit as charming as you can imagine—an absolute delight throughout the day and, without question, one of the best-dressed guests in attendance. His presence added such a playful and personal touch to the celebration, and he looked incredibly dapper while doing it.

The grounds were teeming with lilacs and daffodils, creating portraits that felt soft, colorful, and filled with that just-bloomed feeling that makes spring weddings so special. Inside, the floral design carried that same fresh sensibility indoors. Hydrangea-drenched banisters created a lush, romantic atmosphere, while lilies paired perfectly balanced centerpieces, giving the reception space an elegant and airy feel without losing the sense of whimsy that defined the day.

As photographers, one of the things we loved most about this wedding was how the newness of the season inspired us creatively. Spring always brings a sense of perspective, and on this day, we leaned into that by photographing the Jane and Connor through slightly unexpected vantage points, using mirrors for layered reflections, and framing them through newly sprouted florals. These subtle creative choices gave the gallery a fresh and modern feel while still preserving the genuine emotion and intimacy of the day.

Every part of Jane and Connor’s wedding felt like a celebration of the season itself—fresh, fun, modern, whimsical, and overflowing with love! From the bride’s unforgettable gown to the emerald accents, the blooming grounds, the floral-filled interiors, and the couple’s adorable pup, this wedding was everything you could want from a spring celebration!
