RICH & SHANI | 6.22.19

Shani and Rich’s summer wedding at the Belmar Fishing Club was a gorgeous affair. We started off with both the bride and groom getting ready at The Berkeley Hotel in Asbury Park. Shani’s niece Millie, her maid of honor helped her get into her elegant and understated gown. We loved the magnificent lace train. We had lovely light and ocean views from the hotel room so we snagged some bridal portraits. Then we headed downstairs to the mezzanine level for our first look. Rich looked dapper in his blue and white suit as he eagerly awaited his bride.

After a sweet and sassy first look, we took advantage of the beautiful room to get some romantic photos. This was hard to do as Rich had us all laughing and joking the entire time. We still managed to get some seriously beautiful shots. Then we ran our couple up to the boardwalk for some quick shots by the murals and Convention Hall. After that, we met up with our families and bridal party at Sunset Park for formals.

The rest of the day took place at Belmar Fishing Club so we drove over for the ceremony. The theme throughout was nautical and the setting could not be more perfect for that. The weather was almost magical as the sun shined and we got a lovely breeze for the ceremony on the pier. Rich’s nephews sang beautifully and everybody got a bit emotional. After Shani said her “I do,” Ollie, their sweet little dog let out one single bark – his own “I do!” His approval of the marriage sealed the deal.

After the ceremony, everybody squeezed together for one huge group shot. Then we all headed back for cocktail hour and the reception. Rich and Shani chose the most amazing entertainment, The Morning After Band. The music was phenomal and they kept everybody on the dance floor all night. We took our couple out to the beach and under the pier for some sunset photos and then had a beautiful cake cutting at twilight. We had the most amazing time at Shani and Rich’s wedding and wish them a lifetime of laughs and happiness together.
